What is your interest in tattoos ? The tattoo was always an art form I appreciate. I began to work in the domain by chance and this allowed me to learn – and to appreciate even more.
What or who is your artistic inspiration ? I’ve grown up in the world of the music, my influences come especially from this world, thus many multi-disciplined artists or cross-over, such [** Michel ” Away ” Langevin (Voivod) ] (http: // www.voivod.com/) and [ Dave Brockie (GWAR) **] (http: // fr.wikipedia.org / wiki / Gwar). What is the story of your tattoos (numbers, place, … ) ? Where to begin?! I’ve got thirty I believe. Almost everywhere on my body – Arms, backs, legs, feet and hands. I have lots of funny tattoos – one giant poutine, characters of cartoons, insides-jokes and bets. The whole placed with more serious pieces – Frank Zappa’s big portrait on my leg, tribute to a dear friend on the foot. But also the word “fart” in Japanese. I like the spontaneity when comes the time to be tattooed. It’s a strange thing because the idea to cut my hair is horrifying, but a bullshit on my skin for ever? Yes, sir.
When did you start ? I had my first tattoo the summer of my 19 years. My second when I was only 22 years old, but I got tattoo steadily since.
What was the reaction of your friends and family ? It was not at all a shock. My mother is not still delighted to see my collection increase, but I’m working in this industry she is not any more surprised when I start a new project.
Your next tattoo ? I would like to complete my leg by Azl – not easy to find the time to book an appointment with a colleague
What would be your definition of the tattoo ? Pinchy-pinchy-ooo-la-la
When you will be an old man/ old woman ? completely badass
Your favorite picture ? Artist ? Besides the artists that I named earlier, I adore Ralph Steadman’s works. Moreover the inside of my arm is inspired by one of the part of Farenheit 451
Your favorite restaurant ? Imadake, on St-Catherine Ouest in Montreal. Good food, good atmosphere.
The perfect song ? A song which is simple in its complexity, complex in its simplicity. And especially, catchy as fuck.
Your site, blog, twitter, instagram, or other web stuff …
What entertains you right now ? The crazyness of the Cereal Killers (MTL)
